- Bug fixes to 1.22a & Changes making version 1.22b
- -There was a stack problem which manifested itself after the 2.11 CSD
- was installed. If you saved a file, sometimes JoeView would exit by itself.
- Random, but repeatable.
- -When pasting into from clipboard or file, if image was scaled
- the placed image would not always go into the indicated spot. This
- should be fixed. Also, the titlebar should update correctly.
- -Added an information button to the File Open Dialog. This tells you
- info about the file in question and will also display the file's associated
- icon, if you have previously iconified the file. See below.
- -Iconified information is changed. The icon is stored at a slightly
- higher resolution for better use with the Information button mentioned
- above. You should go through and re-iconify your files if they
- were done with a previous version of JoeView. This can be
- done quickly with a script file.
- -For you POV users I have added a file called povshow.cmd. This is
- a script (REXX) that runs under JoeView. Use it to automatically view
- a pov file as its being generated. You must put some info in the file,
- so edit it first.

- problem if saving both files as JPEGS.
- -Added a float option. Window will stay visible above all others.
- -When using the -b or -bs option JoeView saved the file as an RLE encoded
- bitmap. WPS backgrounds must be regular bitmaps it turns out.

- version registrations.

- There are two possible command line options. You can specify
- a file name for JoeView to load upon startup.
- For example: joeview c:\gifs\hooters.gif
- The other command line option is to create a Floyd Stein
- JoeView normally reads. The output file will always be an OS2
- 2.0 format bitmap. The command is JoeView -b file_in file)out. The "-b" option
- causes JoeView to perform the
- dithering at full CPU utilization. As the process is very CPU
- intensive, the "-bs" option is included. This option is meant to
- mean -b slow. Basically it puts JoeView in a low priority
- mode that causes the operation to take considerably longer than
- if you use "-b" but you'll find that your machine is much more
- usefull while the process is running.
- JoeView will not be visible when this option is invoked.
